The WRS-CBS11X series cable online fault warning and location system developed by our company performs real-time online monitoring of cable operating conditions, collects transient traveling waves and steady-state components during cable operation, analyzes and processes them to predict cable operating conditions, provides alarm and fault diagnosis information for faulty cables, monitors the insulation status of cables, issues warnings for permanent faults, and achieves fault location and fault line selection. It provides a reliable basis for condition-based maintenance, making it possible to transition from traditional periodic maintenance to condition-based maintenance for cable lines. This not only reduces planned power outage time but also minimizes damage to cables from high-voltage preventive tests.

Functional Features:
Fault Location: The system utilizes voltage traveling wave and current traveling wave fault location technologies to achieve fault point location, with a fault location accuracy of up to 2.12m.
Fault Line Selection: The system monitors the operating status of each cable in real time and performs cable loop selection for main insulation faults.
System Cloud Service: Provides sufficient user space for each user, allowing access to on-site system monitoring via a browser anytime and anywhere. Historical data is permanently stored for easy review.
Local Functionality: The system backend is installed at the main station, configured with a primary system diagram, enabling fault warning, line selection, and location. The system diagram flashes for faulty lines, with pop-up alarms, sound alarms, and WeChat Mini Program alarms.
Electronic Duty: Enables unmanned operation, with alarm information and operational status pushed to relevant personnel via WeChat Mini Program.

Warning Methods:
Yellow Warning: When an abnormality occurs in the cable, the device immediately captures the waveform and displays a yellow warning, indicating arcing in the phase cable, which should be closely monitored. The discharge amount for instantaneous arcing is approximately 3,000 microcoulombs.
Orange Warning: When dozens of waveform triggers occur daily, the system issues an orange warning. Users should arrange maintenance as soon as possible. The discharge amount for instantaneous arcing is approximately 3,000–5,000 microcoulombs.
Red Warning: Trigger frequency increases rapidly, and the cable is likely to fail soon (within 24 hours). The system enters a red warning state, and users should immediately conduct a power outage for maintenance. The discharge amount for instantaneous arcing is approximately 5,000–8,000 microcoulombs. Additionally, if the cable suffers irreparable external damage (e.g., mechanical damage such as digging), the system directly reports the faulty line with a red warning.
